Just from a logistical and practical standpoint


It sounds like you had a hard time scraping together the four teams. If there is a high level of imbalance, you risk losing players not just this year but also in future years if they don't see the benefit or the fun. Good players may stop showing up if it is not challenging and is boring. While the losing team players may stop showing up if they keep getting life lessons each week with the big losses.

So in the interest of the league and the players, I'd say it is very reasonable to huddle with the other coaches and brainstorm on some player rotations or shuffling. And you could sell it as helping to develop skills by working with different players and different coaches.

I'd say to ask the kids what they think, but 10-12 is a hard age. Some may not be vocal about what they want but some might be very aware and have good input. Good luck whatever you do and congrats on the win :)
