I’m not an expert on the subject but I believe some people, not all, end up

On heroin or fentanyl because it’s cheaper and/or more easily accessible then oxycontin or whatever prescription drug they started out using. Some just go straight to heroin or fentanyl because whatever peer group they’re in steered them to it. I know you can use heroin different ways but I believe needles are still the fast cheapest way to cure their craving.
