Ran across this article relative to funding/going forward planning at VT...

The more I take time to consider what’s happening at VT and at colleges throughout the country, the less I feel inclined to give either on the athletic or general university side. The article points out a few issues but if you dig you find how far the higher education system (including VT) has strayed from what it’s primary mission should be, providing world class educational opportunities for qualified students at a reasonable price. Very disheartening.
