A company in Virginia will conceal the LPRs in the signs. But the technology will be deployed across the US.

From the linked special notice: "These platforms are in high demand by DEA division offices across the country, and will be utilized on a continuous basis for constant and targeted LPR acquisition efforts in rural and difficult to cover areas where LPR fixed or other mobile applications are not effective or available."

I am not going to pretend to know about some random sign you saw on the side of the road. I am talking about these specific signs, where we know who will own them.
