This will be a game changer for schools that are non-football factories and

with change cfb. as we know it.

I spoke w/ an NCAA official this week who was “95% certain” transfers will soon be allowed to play immediately in basketball & football. Could be a one-time freebie, plus grad transfer option. So in theory, a student-athlete could play for three different schools w/o sitting out.

If this happens this will turn CFB into a semi pro league. ND does not accept transfers (Grad transfers we do) unless they are on course to graduate (4 years to graduate, rarely happens for ND football, 3 or 4 times the last 10-15 years). They must take a full 4 semesters of credits from ND to qualify for an ND degree. Therefore, if what you earned at other colleges or universities do not put you on pace to garduate in time we will not take you. (I never remember ND EVER taking a JUCO) This will change the face of college football,l and Swarbrick said we will not go down a path in semi pro model.

I think ND and schools like Stanford will forgo what is coming.
