Age of house? Width of crack?


If house is more than 5 years old, differential settlement should have subsided, barring a footing being undermined or something.

If crack is a hairline crack, it can be readily patched. If not, beware. All the fearsome seeds noted below are valid unless a hairline crack is patched.
