Any structural engineer types here?

We have a house under contract. Inspection found stair step cracks on both side walls in the basement. A couple of cinderblocks were cracked right down the middle. Brick facade seems in good shape except for one broken brick.
We got an engineer to look at it and he just thinks it’s settling and not a big deal. I think he’s right, just looking for some more opinions to either soothe my nerves or give me colder feet.
