I took Boren's point to be frustration that 4 schools left the Big XII.

It was blaming former commissioners for not taking care of the non-Texas/Oklahoma members enough causing 4 of them to leave. And the frustration is even stronger give than they cannot find suitable replacements.

There is no question that Texas and Oklahoma are the only reason that conference is P5.
