Nothing will happen until Oklahoma decides what it wants to do.

I don't think Texas will lead any change. I don't know of course, just speculation.

It is still possible that Oklahoma gets the others to add Houston and follow through with making some additions that they passed on last year. That would keep the Big XII alive.

But I've been increasing thinking Texas will grow to miss Texas A&M and will end up joining them in the SEC. Rumors from Texas think Texas would choose the Big Ten. ESPN will strongly encourage them against that due to the Longhorn Network. I don't think that is a geographic fit at all that could last.

What could last is having Missouri go to the Big Ten with Kansas, and then having the SEC replace Missouri with Texas, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State. I think that the Big Ten made a big mistake passing on Missouri when they did. Missouri may not want to go there anymore.

The ACC made a mistake by not taking WVU when we had the chance. But to open the ACC contract with ESPN, we only needed two. I wish Maryland would have let everyone know what they were looking to do at the time. We would probably have WVU at this point if they had. But Louisville has been very good too. Perhaps we end up with WVU anyway at some point.
