This was a 1% of 1% of 1% situation. 99% of the time, the compensation offers work. 99% of the times they don't, the involuntary boarding process works peacefully. And 99% of the time that doesn't, the involvement of security stamps out the fight. Add in the oddity of this happening on board rather in the terminal and the result couldn't have been easily predicted.
