I guess they could spin it to sell the network but it will not


have games even close to that caliber on the network. Same goes for pulling ratings for the best ACC football games. This stuff is not going to be on the network. They will put some top football games on the network in the first year to get subscriptions/carriage but that won't last unless folks are clamoring for the caliber ACC football games you see today on Raycom. There are some very optimistic projections from ACC school admins in some industry folks out there, though. Keep reading about the ACC's footprint but that becomes less important by the year with unbundling. And if our hope was that the ACCN will jump into many cable/packagers with the big ESPNs, they are already starting the de-emphasize ESPNEWS and ESPN Classic as stated in the link below. If the ACCN gets the viewers it will be fine. So we are hoping a very large number of people to want to pay extra to watch Olympic sports which currently get no ratings on CSN/ESPNU, Raycom level football games, and good basketball which gets a fraction of the viewers of football.
