I wasn't basing it on just 1 game. Although both Gonzaga and Xavier


are established mid-major basketball programs. In Xavier's case it was established long before someone coined the term "mid-major." I was basing it off various articles I read over the years. The articles examined the "Cinderella" story, which group (power conference vs. mid-major) got better TV ratings in the later rounds, and whether the 2 groups can continue to coexist or a divorce between the 2 groups is inevitable.
