I've had a 84, 89 conv, 93 conv and 66 conv

Brothers have had 84, 61, 73, 76 and 07.

$22K is at the top of that range right now. Vettes go through a dip and bottom out at about 20 years usually then stagnate for a few years more before rising again. I have been amazed at how the early C3's have moved in price lately but those also still had horsepower (427 in the 68/69 and 454 which was way underrated on horsepower in 72/73 - said 270-275 but really around 400).

For that money, I would look at a 2002-2004 Z06. They are a lot more collectible, higher horsepower and are bottoming out on price. I have seen them for $24-$27 with low mileage like the one you show.

As far as daily driver, I loved my vettes but if you are driving a lot, anything up to about 2007 will challenge you over a period of time - especially if you have knee or back issues. Also depending on traffic, shifting can be a chore as many vettes have strong clutches. My bro's 2007 Z06 will absolutely wear your leg out around town but it is awesome to drive.

Last thing to think about, if you are using it as a daily driver, I assume you will be putting a lot of miles on it. If so, it's not worth the premium to buy a really low mileage like this one. Go up 15 or 20K miles and save yourself money. I am making the assumption you are not collecting.

Good luck in the purchase.
