What model year are you looking at? In your post you cite a 1990 and a 2000. HUGE differences between those 10 years of Corvette production.

Can they provide any proof of service or maintenance?

How's your back? The seats in those are low to the ground and a little challenging to get in and out of if you have any sort of back problem.

Not sure it's a car I would drive daily. I've driven a 2002 hardtop and driving a commute is really not what it's intended for, unless your commute involves S curves and heavy braking.
