Any Classic Corvette collectors on the lounge?

I am looking for a low mileage, soft top for a daily driver down here in north Florida. Here is a link to a very nice manual shift, soft top C-4 2000 model Vette with less than 16,000 miles- possibly the original owner...don't know as I have not called him yet. 1990 is the mid-range of the generation 4 Corvette. Many of the modern safety devices had been incorporated by then along with some comfort features. I am not sure that I want a manual shift as opposed to the automatic.

The C-3s have a more aggressive Stingray styling and bring good money when they are well conditioned. I just don't want to spend $40-50K on a car that is so unrefined. Any ideas out there as far a vettes go? Another American Classic perhaps?
