That kinda makes sense


But I'm still a little confused. Are you saying that the pigtail match was the #1 seed vs. the D3 champ, or that the D2 and D3 champs wrestled in the pigtail for the opportunity to meet the #1 seed in the first round?

And I'm still confused as to why they wouldn't just do 30 wrestlers plus the D2 and D3 champs to eliminate the need for the pigtail. Perhaps wrestling in the pigtail was a reward for the 1 seed to have an extra opportunity for team points?
