If TW is like RCN, you need a modem with EMTA. They might not let


you bring your own EMTA modem into the picture (RCN doesn't).

In which case, I'm with the other guys, strongly consider someone else to provide your phone. If it is an emergency thing know that the cable companies backup power for the phone system isn't likely going to last any longer than your cell provider's towers' backup or your cell phone's battery.
