And I'll add (along the lines of a Chris Penny), a C guy can become a B guy and a B guy can become an A.

LaPrade is an interesting one, for example. He is strong as Hell, tough as nails, and brings a nasty intensity to the mat. He can also make an occasional mistake that top tier D1 wrestlers can exploit. But I could easily imagine him being coached into the A class, and a damn good one.
