Expensive city, mediocre rev. sports, too many non-revs. No biggie here.

Cut the non revenue sports. Who will lose any sleep over that? A few dozen kids will lose scholarships, but these Berkley kids are no dummies. They'll do just fine in life. The university or the California tax payers won't lose any sleep over their not having a fencing team. Their fans won't either. If these nonrevs meant anything to them, they wouldn't be non revenue sports. There would be more than just parents and girlfriends in the stands. Those folks can come out and watch Lil Jimmy play for his intramural team.
