Most of my possibilities have been proven correct.


My track record on this expansion stuff is pretty dang good. The only real surprises thus far were WVU to Big12 and UofL to ACC. Pretty much called all the rest months in advance. I even had Maryland pegged on the B1G radar earlier than most.

And I always put the odds of the ACC crumbling below 50%. However, it's ridiculous to think it wasn't a real possibility. It was VERY real. ACC teams lagging similar profile teams from the SEC or B1G by $20 million+ made that a quite real possibility.

It should have never been close, basic geography wasn't in the Big12's favor, but Swoff and Co did all they could to make it a dogfight between the Big12 and ACC. Heck, to this day the average Big12 team brings in more dough than the average ACC team. this league's "leadership" is laughable.
