Means b12 decided to not expand

I think it means the big 12 has decided to not expand. ESPN and fox rumored to have offered more money to not expand and remove prorata clause in contract.

This was a money grab by the big 12 to keep pace. It is a short term move and pisses off the partners who saved the league from falling apart a few years ago.

This is a show, but the real thing to watch is when they announce new deal is the grant of rights extended. Texas and Oklahoma know they want to look. Doubt that they will give that up. If a gor is done, I bet there will be an out clause.

At the end of the day, do you think the Iowa states and Kansas states want to make any more teams in the p5? When the music stops and the p5 becomes the p4. They will be worried about having a seat at the table. Why add more competition? Especially when you can get paid not to expand by taking a bump?
