They are responding with niche subs like the SEC & now the ACC.

If you can get a passionate fan base to subscribe by only being able to see the games on the conference network...you can make it up with less people willing to pay more.

A case in point is putting ND away games on the network, it will blow up subscribers. You can bet Mandel knows more than he's revealing in the article below...he just has to sit on some of it right now.
