If you click through and read the sportstvtratings.com article, they attribute the ESPNs higher loss when compared to other cable channels to Cord Nevering:

ESPN loss is due to...."some cord cutting for sure but I continue to think it’s mostly older households dying off (literally) that aren’t being replaced by younger households (AKA: Cord-never-ing.)"
