We joined their conference not vice versa.

Emory is a great university. I lived in Atlanta for 20 years and have been there many times for business meetings over the last 10 years. Great people great university.. My point is it is Wake's decision just like it was emory's decision to not participate in big time athletics.

Wake would be fine with or without the acc. Virginia tech would be as well. Athletics is just a small portion of the university. However it is their decision to participate and at what level.
