The ACC wanted to deregulate how the conference champion was chosen. Which would have made the four divisions possible. The B1G wanted them to tell how they would pick the champion to vote for it. The ACC refused to say what they would do. The B1G smelled an ND run around and you know how much the B1G loves the ND run around.
The ACC punted and plans to fight for it another day.
