The SEC and B1G cannot decide to do that! ESPN or Fox would have

to make that decision. It's not the conferences who are pulling the strings on TV issues, it's the broadcasters. If big games are put on networks it's because the tv partners want to monetize the games in that manner. I would guess if that happens they would do the same for the ACC. ESPN holds the rights to the ACC and they want to make money off those rights. With the transition from linear only to linear and non-linear systems the start up costs for a linear ACC network may not make sense right now. However, ESPN will still want to make money off the programing.

Lastly, ESPN and Fox have a vested interest in strong conferences across the country and they are not going to simply turn their backs on conferences like the ACC. They want the ACC to be strong and healthy and to do anything less than everything they can to help the ACC is illogical.
