Yeah, people seem to think it will even things out, but the reality is

that it might very well widen the gap. What if the SEC or Big Ten decide to put their high profile games on their networks, or stream them, at a PPV type cost. People will pay big money to watch Bama-Auburn or Ohio State-Michigan. Even casual fans with no rooting interest will pay.

The ACC doesn't have those type of games in its inventory. The Pac12 doesn't either, and the Big XII may have one in OU-Texas.
