Some side chatter...good news for the ACC

There is a poster on Landthieves that is highly connected at Missouri that said the B1G is going to be offering Kansas and Missouri with Oklahoma as well and the schools would accept the offers.

That means the ACC would not get picked apart and there WOULD be a network eventually formed.

As some of you know I have very involved contacts at MU even more so than at OU. I heard today that the big 10 is seriously looking at a 16-18 team league in the next 3-5 years and has increasing interest in KU and MU with the possibility of OU as well. The thought is a more natural division for Nebraska and gaining a huge footprint in the OKC, Kansas City and St. Louis areas to go along with Omaha. I have always said OU was sec bound but with a deal like that in the works I don't see any school turning it down. Some might say that there's no way MU leaves the SEC but I can tell you for sure they would do it with KU as a package deal. MU is a major proponent for OU to join them in the sec but this could seriously change things up if the B1G makes the first move.

............................

ND may be the school that could still flip to the B1G, which should not be a surprise to anyone, but it is looking like FSU, Georgia Tech, etc, may stay in the ACC.

A southern swing for the B1G into the Big 12 country would finish expansion for the B1G besides Texas and ND for decades.
