The beauty of this format is the ACC could use it to help justify

realigning the divisions which may be long overdue. Ideally this format works best if both divisions have equal representation to a region or state. I say that because when the ACC goes to develop the 2 groups of 3, then it wants to bring balance in the representation between the groups. For example if 2 NC schools are included in the 6, then make sure both groups have a NC instead of placing both NC schools in the same group. split the South school and Florida school instead of placing both schools in the same group. The ACC is already naturally and evenly divided up with the current 14 schools. Why not take advantage of it?

New England - 2
Ohio Valley - 2
Virginia - 2
North Carolina - 4
South - 2
Florida - 2
