Do you know what Minnesota required of Coyle?

Did they want him there ASAP? I've had employees leave me with just a days notice because they landed a better paying job and their new employer wanted them there the next day. It sucks but that's how things go sometimes. I'm sure the ACC will send transcripts of the meetings and that SU still had time to send a representative down there. I'm also sure that John Swofford will be happy to talk to SU's next AD about all the happenings.

The situation makes Coyle look bad but if Minnesota wanted him ASAP, then he had to do what he had to do. Coyle is making more money for his family and his family is happier being closer to their loved ones (200 miles vs. 950 miles). I would've made the same job move but would've asked if I could stay for the meetings, but maybe Minnesota wanted him the next day? It was bad timing for Syracuse but probably the right timing for Minnesota who got the AD they wanted.
