It could be considered discrimination


Proving it in the court of law is entirely a different matter. If the Pac-12 doesn't make any official statements, then it becomes that much more difficult to prove the conference is discriminating against a school based on religion.

If you click on the link and search religion then the first hit you should see is a question from Eric (UT). Then the next few hits (I think 3-4 factoring in questions and responses) after it are talking about the conference being a private entity, whether it can legally discriminate, and the difficulties of proving the conference discriminates in a court of law. I think those segments are kinda spread out through the chat, so hitting the next button is probably the best way to toggle through it all.
