True, that is a potential problem, but . . .


I think the odds of Oklahoma State being left behind for the Mountain West or some watered down Big 12 are not very high.

I don't see Okie State being attractive to the Big Ten. But if OU goes to the Pac 12 or SEC, I think those conferences would probably take Okie State to get the deal done. And I think Okie State if it has to go alone, it has at least a shot to get in the SEC if paired with, say, TCU.

And if push comes to shove, I don't think folks in Oklahoma will force OU to stay in the Big 12 with little brother if it has an opportunity to join the Big Ten or perhaps even the Pac 12.
