I don't think two 8 team divisions favor a permanent rival

You would play the ones on the other side even less than you do now, and that is the main scheduling problem we have today.

Play your seven division games, plus two from the other division every year. At least then you play everyone in conference during a player's four year career.

Plus I hate the north/south deal. Always have, even though admittedly it will probably end up that way eventually.
