Missing some important parts


He didn't just buy the entire stock of the hand pumps. He bought enough that the companies making them would be filling his orders for years running at full capacity. Then he aggressively marketed his product. Knowing there wouldn't be a competitor in the marketplace for months to years meant his product would dominate the market for years to come.
