It's all about pitching.


JMU's Megan Good and Jailyn Ford are one of the best pitching combos in D-1 softball. They got a commitment from the top pitcher in the state and one of the top 20 players in the nation, Kathryn Sandercock, who will join them in 2018. She's 6 feet and throws 70 mph.

As for Tech, we have some promising pitchers on the way in Carrie Eberle (6'0" RHP from Charlotte) who'll join the team next season and a few for 2017-18 season in Jordan Dail (5'6" LHP from Brookville-Lynchburg H.S.) and Keely Rochard (5-9" RHP from Warhill H.S -Williamsburg). Talented RHP, Jenna Khantzian (already 5'10") is only a high school freshman out of suburban Philadelphia area.

IMHO, we may need to find a talented JUCO pitcher before next season.

We also have one of the best players in the nation coming here in 2017-18 in Cana Davis (OF/3B out of Bridgewater area and athletic lefty OF Darby Trull out of South Carolina. Jayme Bailey (5'6" high school sophomore from Hurricane, WV is a very talented OF prospect).
