I have 2 girls and they have had smart phones since age 13

We have had no problems (that we know of)...they are 15 and 17 and every single one of their friends have smart phones...we have monitored social media ..kids can hide things on their smart phones if they want to where you will never find it (such as hidden text apps) so we have taken the attitude of trust to a certain extent..but like I say we monitor social media the most and this seems to work.
