ESPN can afford to lose money on the LHN contract

for a long, long time. As of Q3 2015, Disney owns $47.2 billion in treasury stock, so it can afford to sell some assets to pay for its fully-owned subsidiary's boneheaded business decision. My guess is Texas is going to collect on this sweetheart deal for the foreseeable future, regardless of what the Big XII wants.
