Yes the acc would be better off with deregulation


All conferences would. The current rule I believe requires 2 divisions and each division has to play everyone.

The flexibility before everyone goes to a 4x4 or 4x5 would make it easier to get Notre dame by being flexible with their national schedule desire. They do not know why we are being coy and will vote against until they know how acc intends to use it.

I also think the long play for both is to get acc teams. Therefore they want to throw a lifeline to big 12 because if they don't it could also increase likely hood that Texas bolts big 12 and thereby solidifying the acc.

Look at what the big 10 is doing with odu with football camps. They NEED access to recruit hot beds.
