What "pressure on the ACC" do you see here. For the ACC to vote to allow


a conference with less than 12 teams to hold a conference championship? That is the issue at hand and only affects the Big 12? Yes, that championship game may or may not have implications for votes of the The members of the selection committee: Jeff Long (chair), Barry Alvarez, Mike Gould, Pat Haden, Tom Jernstedt, Oliver Luck, Archie Manning, Tom Osborne, Dan Radakovich, Condoleezza Rice, Mike Tranghese, Steve Wieberg and Tyrone Willingham.

I guess it is possible that the outcome of this vote could affect the way the ACC determines who plays in our own championship game, but does this new rule allow for changes to how all conferences were to determine who plays in their title games?
