I agree. The so-called state of West Virginia is illegal, illegitimate and a shamm. The US Constituition clearly states that the mother state (Virginia) must give its permission before a new state is formed. That clearly did not happen because of political reasons and the trauma of the Civil War. Virginia voted 140,000 some For Secession and about 20,000 Against in April, 1861. The vote was nearly as overwhelming in the so-called state of West Virginia except for a couple of counties along the Ohio River. Most of the people were driven into that new state by the point of a bayonet. I could go on but that is for a different forum. As you may be able to tell I am a history major (Tech '78).
