I am not following why you think UofL is making money

from the KFC Yum! Center. UofL has a lease with the Louisville Arena Authority so its men's basketball, women's basketball, and women's volleyball can use the facility. Based on all the financial records I have come across online, I am not finding anything to suggest that the UofL receives a payment from the Louisville Arena Authority. UofL does have corporate sponsors for its athletic programs just like every other collegiate athletic program out there. UofL just doesn't receive any of the money KFC Yum! Brands paid the Louisville Arena Authority for the naming rights.
