City of Louisville, University and private endorsements

U of L have forged lots of private public partnerships with the City university and private sector. ALl good for the university and the louisville jefferson county area.

The key point, is the UNIVERSITY will do whatever it takes to enhance resource streams to broaden investment. They will be as untraditional as needed to get there. They are doing it with not only athletics but academic side of the house.

MOre universities will be do it, VT is certainly doing this; expect more public private partnerships as we see the new Business School campus is developed where the old golf course was.

THis is not a political statement, but states are not investing in higher education like they did in the 70's, it is what it is. If a university vision is to serve an international center for research and education, they will find the resource streams wherever to get there.
