Apparently, JMU petitioning for 1 year transition (so 2 years for now)

Finger crossed for them. They are trying really hard to get there quick. Whichever bowl gets them for their first one will be happy with that choice. JMU will fill that one up. Those fans are hungry for FBS now.

"Even with achieving full FBS status, JMU is still ineligible for bowls and the Sun Belt Championship until at least the 2023-24 season. Bourne said JMU plans to petition for a one-year transition over the summer."
