I've found a reference to


in Hinduism marked by a swastika. This appears to be the first page of a financial document. Without digging deeper, all I can say is it fits. In 1917 the swastika was still a good thing. Remember riding a train in Korea and you saw all these swastikas over building, also Christian crosses, eg, locations of little Buddhist and Christian churches located everwhere. Read where it means "10,000" as in "may you live 10,000 lives"
