I can't imagine anyone promising a certain amount of money


to anyone. I can see them promising they'll work with them on an NIL deal. And if they are savvy enough, they'll give him/her examples of what they could expect from other deals they have made with other athletes and brands.

Basically, it's the same as Nick Saban putting out his 1st rounders contracts and saying if you come here, you have the opportunity to earn that as well. Doesn't promise it'll happen though.
