Interesting technical analysis of Moskva fire
Pics show possible extent of catastrophic fires on the ship. The remaining fire in the pics seems to be from the magazine toward the front of the ship where exposed rounds might have cooked off subsequent to a missile strike.
Similar to what I saw with the Russian land vehicles, their designs seem to put less emphasis in separating the crews from the armament. Definitely not knowledgeable in this, just surprised to see exposed tank and APC rounds within the passenger compartments.
In that article, they highlight smoke / burn marks on the side of the ship, as if a big fire below shot out of escape holes in the sides of this big ship. Crazy. Doesn’t look like anyone was towing that dumpster fire anywhere, either.
In another article, parents of the crew cannot track their family members. Families repeatedly post inquiries online, and then they delete them- as a sign that the government is intimidating the families. Apparently 100s of burned sailors are currently in a hospital in Crimea- some parents went their looking for their kids. What a nightmare:

Russian news showed their Navy Secretary meeting about 100 sailors, out of the 550 that were onboard- so there might have been injuries/ a loss of 400-450 Russian sailors from that event.
