That's been my SOP forever


but just got my first truly new vehicle in many years - don't do that normally but price difference (less than $1500) between new and 2 year old used with low mileage was so low (as long as you are willing to wait months for the new vehicle) it didn't make sense to buy used.

Not much price negotiation, but they did agree to extend the covered service to four years - they want to change oil at 10k miles.

Kinda stuck between doing what I feel to be best and what the guys that will cover any warranty issue up until that point want to do. Figure I'll do it their way until warranty runs out then switch to ~5K mile intervals.
