Well, if you do, diligently check the oil level. I have a hard time


believing that if you go that long, you'll have any left, particularly on a higher mileage car. On something newer, it might be less of a concern. But vehicles do simply lose oil via burn and some seepage somewhere as they get older.

I do the 10,000 mile full synthetic, but I hardly ever let it go the full 10.
