Cases are up 50% in a week!!!! (Up to 142 cases out of 1.59 million)
Hospitalizations are also down. But "they could go up".
And their health commissioner says the reinstitution of required masking for all is because of what might happen even though she says she believes the new variant wave will be smaller than omicron.

Just. No words.
I'm worried here in Blacksburg. There are currently 0 hospitalized for covid. If one gets hospitalized there are going to be those that freak out over a 100% increase.
