I umpired a makeup LL game in 90° on a Saturday morning.


Pitcher had a small towel to wipe the sweat. Coach objected. I told him if the towel interfered with a play, I'd rule on it.
The craziest was a line drive off of another pitcher's shin in a different game. I immediately called time out as he went down hard. The coach wanted to know about his batter at first. I told him safety first and I'd rule after we checked the pitcher. Fortunately, no broken bone.
